Hands up if you’ve ever snatched the camera out of someone’s hand with a quick ‘I’ll take it!’ just so you don’t have to be in the photo? Or scrolled through family snaps thinking, ‘Delete that one – and that one – actually, just delete the lot.’
The women you see featured on this page all felt exactly like that before their shoot with me. They were convinced they simply weren’t photogenic. And let’s be honest – everyone started off thinking – no – I’m not brave or confident enough.
The Ageless Confidence Project exists to prove that you are far more photogenic than you think. And whilst you might not walk in confident – you certainly will feel it when we have finished! You don’t need bravery- you just need faith, trust and we will provide the little bit of pixie dust……..
My style of boudoir is subtle and elegant, often covering more than it reveals. You’ll be guided gently through the entire experience in my beautiful home studio near Sleaford in Lincolnshire.
Every woman who takes part can become part of something bigger too. The project finishes with our flagship annual charity exhibition raising money for Breast Cancer Now, where all the ladies come together, share their stories, and celebrate the experience (We have raised £9000 so far through my previous projects)
It’s emotional, empowering, and incredibly special to be part of.

Most of the women who come to me are in their 40s, 50s, 60s and yes… even their 70s.
Women who are drawn to my more subtle, elegant style of boudoir photography (sorry no bums and bits here )
Most of the women who come to me aren’t confident. They’re not “ready.” They still haven’t got to the weight target they wanted. They’ve just reached a point where they’re tired of putting themselves off. Tired of waiting for life to feel calmer. For the right moment to finally arrive.
And if the events over last few years and months have shown us anything…it’s that life doesn’t suddenly settle down and hand you that moment.
My past ladies have usually been women who normally hate seeing themselves in photos, avoid cameras and mirrors even!
Some have spent decades looking after everyone else and putting themselves last.
One said illness and surgery had left her feeling more like “a piece of meat than a woman”. She said her very femininity had been stripped from her after breast and cervical cancer.
For some the menopause arrived like a freight train — the hot flushes, the changing body, the emotions that seem to appear from nowhere.
Many ladies have had a relationship that has knocked their confidence.
But there doesn’t have to be a particular reason.
It could just be something you’ve always wanted to do — a bucket list moment you’ve been putting off for years. And why not. If we can’t do it this stage of our life – when?
This is not for everyone – I get that. If you’re looking for heavily posed or something that is overly revealing then this isn’t the right experience for you. But for the women who have done this it is quite transformational. (This is my 6th project so there a quite a few now who have done it!) Despite all their concerns beforehand they really do walk away feeling confident, empowered – and yes – beautiful. Even the “unphotogenic” ones.

What does it cost?
The £199 session fee gets you professional hair and makeup with Katie, a fully guided boudoir shoot with Sharon and a gorgeous print to take home. You’ll also spend the day laughing more than you expected. Most women are surprised by that bit.
You reserve your session then I will send a calendar link so you can choose a date to suit you

The shoots will be held at my home studio near Sleaford in Lincolnshire NG34 0PY (Shoots can be booked anytime between April – December 2026)
