You don’t need to know how to pose. You’ll be guided gently from start to finish, in a private studio, with professional hair and makeup. Then we will finish the project with a fundraising charity exhibition for Breast Cancer where you get to meet all the other women in the project. Who felt just like you.

My boudoir stle is not about getting naked. That’s a different type of photography that I don’t do. My boudoir is much more subtle. In fact , I am more likely to cover you up than uncover you. Think elegant robes, silk sheets – jumpers even – never anything that will make you feel self conscious or uncomfortable. 
I hear you though – you’re already doubting yourself – “you can’t make me look good in photos”. ” I’m not photogenic” “I’m too big ….. I’m too skinny …..” Yes – I’ve heard them all. But I have your back.
You’ll be guided into flattering poses, with professional styling and lighting designed for mature women. My retouching service enhances you without changing the essence of who you are.
It’s a fun photosession in my home studio – basically it’s grown up girls dressing up and having a lot of giggles in the process. It proves that no matter what society thinks of us older ladies – we shouldn’t be underestimated –
If you leave feeling we didn’t deliver the experience I promised, I’ll make it right by refunding your session fee. Which I have never had to do.
An extra bonus at the end of the Project is our unique annual Charity Fundraising Exhibition for Breast Cancer
It’s private – just for the ladies and their friends and family. But it’s terrifically emotional and empowering as you get to share your boudoir journey with all the other women who have taken part – as well as do some good for a charity that is close to a lot of womens hearts.

Why I have Created this
Hi, I’m Sharon (with Albie and Isla)– lovely to meet you!
I’m 63 (how did that happen so fast?!) and the photographer and owner of Symply Boudoir. I wanted to create a boudoir experience appropriate for women of my age.
Whilst we can’t control how age affects our bodies, we can control our attitude towards those changes. We deserve to love and celebrate our bodies at every stage of life. We deserve to be proud of the life we have lived, the battles we have fought and hold our heads high.
But I also know the doubts. The mirror moments where you catch yourself and think – bloody hell when did that happen! Most of my lovely ladies tell me they will be my greatest challenge – to which I say – bring it on! 
I want you to experience an appropriate photoshoot designed to help you feel celebrated, comfortable, and to show you just how amazing you really are. You just can’t see it – yet. I know you will say to me – but I hate having my photos taken. I can 100% promise you – you will enjoy this session far more than you can ever imagine.
