I’m looking for just 50 women ANY AGE OVER 50, 60 or 70 who don’t like themselves in photos. Avoid the camera. Or who feel invisible.
I’m looking for women who have maybe spent decades doing things for others but nothing for themselves. Maybe your partner no longer take much notice – you feel like an afterthought.
I’m looking for women who want to feel that they can still look good despite the hot flushes, the changing shape, the unexplained emotions. Maybe divorce has shaken your confidence in who you are?
Or the empty nest syndrome has left you feeling redundant and unwanted?
Or maybe you just want to to do something out of your comfort zone or tick off a bucket list item.

Boudoir photography – surprisingly – helps you rediscover who you are again. To have one of our boudoir shoots – you don’t have to feel confident (that comes AFTER the shoot!)
You definitely don’t have to get naked. I am more likely to cover you up than uncover you. We don’t want to be accused of being mutton dressed as lamb do we ?
I hear you though – you’re already doubting yourself – “you can’t make me look good in photos”. ” I’m not photogenic. I’m too big ….. I’m too skinny …..” I’ve heard them all. But I have your back.
Because I promise you I will get you an experience and images that makes you feel confident in your skin.
It’s a fun photosession in my home studio – basically it’s grown up girls dressing up and having a lot of giggles in the process.

The bonus at the end of the Project is our unique annual Charity Fundraising Exhibition for Breast Cancer
It’s private – just for the ladies and their friends and family. But it’s terrifically emotional and empowering as you get to share your boudoir journey with all the other women who have taken part – as well as do some good for a charity that is close to a lot of womens hearts.
We have so far raised over £9000 from our exhibitions held at the end of each campaign
Why I have Created this
Hi, I’m Sharon (with Albie and Isla)– lovely to meet you!
I’m 63 (how did that happen so fast?!) and the photographer and owner of Symply Boudoir. I wanted to create a boudoir experience appropriate for women of my age.
Whilst we can’t control how age affects our bodies, we can control our attitude towards those changes. We deserve to love and celebrate our bodies at every stage of life. We deserve to be proud of the life we have lived, the battles we have fought and hold our heads high.
But I also know the doubts. The mirror moments where you catch yourself and think – bloody hell when did that happen! Most of my lovely ladies tell me they will be my greatest challenge – to which I say – bring it on!
I will even give you your session fee back if you don’t like your photos! (never happened yet!!)
I want you to experience a photoshoot designed to help you feel celebrated, comfortable, and to show you just how amazing you really are. Despite the fact that you will say to me – but I hate having my photos taken. I can 100% promise you – you will enjoy this session far more than you can ever imagine. You just have to trust me on that!
And because I know how hard it is to justify doing something totally for you – I hold an private charity fundraising exhibition at the end of the project. It’s a win for you. It’s a win for breast cancer. This will be the 6th year I have done this.

Ageing gracefully is an art;
Ageing disgracefully is a BLAST!
There are not sufficient superlatives to convey what an incredibly empowering experience my session was. Somehow Sharon and Katie were able to bring back to the surface a side of me that I thought had been long forgotten. I was able to feel like ME again - not someone’s mum, or wife, or colleague. Now in my sixties, I honestly felt that I was in my thirties again. Ok, that was on the inside, the exterior would say otherwise, but even then the results were amazing! The way I felt, both during the shoot and afterwards, was amazing and exciting, you couldn’t buy a better experience!
