I’m Sharon – your photographer, and I’m 64. I know how vulnerable it feels standing in front of a camera whatever your age. I also know what it’s like to look in the mirror and think the person staring back has somehow become invisible. That’s precisely why I do this.
Although I’m particularly known for photographing boudoir for mature women (because I am one and i understand their concerns!) I also do boudoir photography for women across a much wider age range too. In fact, I’ve discovered that quite a few younger women are drawn to my style of boudoir because it’s a little bit different.
I’m not really a “get your bum and bits out and let’s make it raunchy” kind of photographer. I’m much more interested in beautiful, flattering images that still feel like you. You can be sexy without having to show absolutely everything.
My studio is near Sleaford in Lincolnshire. It’s just me and Katie – she’s a brilliant make-up artist who understands that most women don’t want to look like they’ve had a personality transplant by the time their make-up is finished.
You’ll simply look like yourself on your absolute best day – the version that usually only shows up for special occasions.
I photograph one woman a day. Just one. You get the whole studio to yourself and us two slightly nutty women entirely focused on making sure you leave feeling something you probably weren’t expecting.

Who is this for?
There’s a moment many of us reach where we suddenly feel a bit invisible. Perhaps the family takes you for granted, or you spend so much time caring for everyone else that you realise nobody is putting you first.
Add to that the lovely effects of the “M” word, and it’s no wonder confidence takes a knock. You know you have to accept the changes, but that doesn’t mean you have to like them. How many times have you thought: “I just want to feel like ME again”?
Other women come to me because life has shifted—the children have grown, a chapter has closed, and they want to mark this new stage while they feel ready to enjoy it.
Different starting points, but the same underlying feeling: a quiet wish to do something entirely for yourself.
This is your opportunity to step out of the background. Not to prove anything to anyone else, but to rediscover your own confidence and end up with portraits you are genuinely proud to look at.

A day of unhurried, gentle escapism
Think of it as a relaxed afternoon of dressing up, where we help you not only look wonderful, but actually feel it too.
Most of all, there are lots of giggles along the way. We certainly don’t take ourselves too seriously here—there are no moody scowls or awkward, contorted poses. It’s lighthearted, fun, and completely unpressured. You’ll leave wondering why you waited so long.
Oh—and just to be completely clear! I was recently introduced on BBC Radio Lincolnshire as the lady who takes “nudey rudey photos.” I can assure you, they are neither nude nor rude. My style is classy, subtle, and elegant.
