 WHAT IS YOUR OCCUPATION? Currently I am a partner in an outside catering company, but hopefully I am about to embark on a new adventure returning to my old career in Corporate Debt Recovery,

HOW OLD ARE YOU – AND WHAT IS THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING YOUR AGE? 45. Older wiser, been there, done that got the mental and physical scars to show for it. I now realise other peoples opinions of me hold little value over my own opinion of myself.

WHAT HARDSHIPS HAVE YOU ENDURED THAT YOU FEEL HAVE MADE YOU FEEL STRONGER? I left a 20 year relationship that turned highly abusive and toxic, I’m starting over from scratch, new house, new career and hopefully a new healthy relationship 2024 is my year to get back to being me

WHAT DO YOU CONSIDER IS YOUR GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT? My 3 amazing, funny, beautiful and talented kids. The remind me everyday of how good life can be.

WHAT IS YOUR IDEA OF PERFECT HAPPINESS? Peace. no daily conflicts, just coming home to the people who love you and accept you for who you are.

WHAT DO YOU TREASURE MOST? My soul, the old me finally returning and being free to breathe again. I treasure being able to laugh again and not feel heavy.

WHAT’S LEFT ON YOUR BUCKET LIST? Nothing amazing, a new house, new start and a home filled with laughter and light again.

WHAT WAS YOUR GREATEST EXTRAVAGANCE? Nothing amazing, a new house, new start and a home filled with laughter and light again.

WHAT IS THE ONE THING YOU WOULD CHANGE ABOUT YOURSELF? A few months ago the list would have been long, my confidence, my weight, my self image. Now, absolutely nothing. I’ve finally realised my body is strong, its carried and nurtured 3 kids, its got me through so many hard times. I am me and I am enough.

WHAT IS A TRAIT YOU ARE MOST PROUD OF?  My resilience, I may fall down, but I refuse to stay there.

WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST FEAR? Loosing my kids.

WHAT DO YOU MOST VALUE IN YOUR FRIENDS? Honesty and loyalty.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE YOUR YOUNGER SELF? No man is worth losing yourself for, always choose YOU.

WHAT IS YOUR MOTTO OR FAVOURITE QUOTE? You reap what you sow, so make sure you sow wild flowers not a field of weeds and thistles
