HOW OLD ARE YOU – AND WHAT IS THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING YOUR AGE? 54. I have the benefit of life experience to make the right decisions for myself and generally I feel comfortable in my own skin.

WHAT HARDSHIPS HAVE YOU ENDURED THAT YOU FEEL HAVE MADE YOU FEEL STRONGER? I come from a working class family and my parents divorced when I was 5. I was effectively raised solely by my mum. I was the first in my whole family to go to University and was determined to succeed in my studies. We didn’t have much money but I was fortunate to receive a full grant from Cambridgeshire County Council for University and Law School and qualified as a solicitor in 1996.

WHAT DO YOU CONSIDER IS YOUR GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT? My long marriage and our two lovely sons.

WHAT IS YOUR IDEA OF PERFECT HAPPINESS? Spending time on holiday with those I love (plus drinking fizz in the sun) 😀

WHAT DO YOU TREASURE MOST? My family, my fur babies and my good health.

WHAT’S LEFT ON YOUR BUCKET LIST? I’d like to lose some weight, get fitter, train as a mediator and travel to places I haven’t yet been to but not necessarily in that order! 😀

WHAT WAS YOUR GREATEST EXTRAVAGANCE? An expensive car.

WHAT IS THE ONE THING YOU WOULD CHANGE ABOUT YOURSELF? My t negativity
