Not every boudoir shoot has to be all lace, heels and lying on a bed.

I have five different sets in the studio, along with a whole collection of props and little details that we can use to make your shoot feel completely personal to you. Because, frankly, if you’re going to do something as wonderfully bonkers as having a boudoir shoot, it may as well be your boudoir shoot.

And one of my favourite sets is the Angel Wings.

You might recognise the inspiration. Think Victoria’s Secret and that whole era of spectacular, larger-than-life angel wings — only this version is a little more grown-up, a little more elegant and very much your own.

The wings create something quite magical in photographs. They can be soft and ethereal, dramatic and powerful, or just completely different from anything you might have imagined when you first thought about doing a boudoir shoot.

It’s also a lovely choice if you’re someone who has a spiritual side, or you simply fancy doing something that feels a bit more unusual.

And you absolutely don’t have to be a particular “type” of woman to suit this set.

In fact, that’s rather the point.

We choose the set, styling and outfits around you — not the other way around.

For this set, a one-piece bodysuit works beautifully, particularly if you want that strong, sculptural look against the wings. But our gorgeous pink robe also looks fantastic and gives the whole thing a much softer, feminine feel.

And this is where having different sets in the studio becomes so much fun.

You might arrive thinking you know exactly what you want, and then see the wings and think, Ohhh… actually, THAT’S the one.

Or perhaps you’ll look at them and think absolutely not. 😂

Either is perfectly fine.

There are no rules about which set you should choose. We can mix things up, use different props and create something that feels completely different from anybody else’s shoot.

Because your boudoir experience shouldn’t look like everyone else’s.

It should look like you.
