 WHAT IS YOUR OCCUPATION? I’m the Lead Coach Co-ordinator for Cambridgeshire, looking after Pre Diabetic Prevention Programmes for the NHS.

HOW OLD ARE YOU – AND WHAT IS THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING YOUR AGE? You stop worrying about conformity and start enjoying life your way!

WHAT HARDSHIPS HAVE YOU ENDURED THAT YOU FEEL HAVE MADE YOU FEEL STRONGER? I’ve been a services wife for 18 years, now divorced with two wonderful boys. This makes you strong living a large part of your life as a single parent carrying the stress of your husband being away, sometimes at war, alone and having to carry on regardless.
More recently I’ve had my own war with breast cancer. This has shown me that life is actually there for living and I need to grab it with both hands.

WHAT DO YOU CONSIDER IS YOUR GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT? That I still have the strength and confidence to get out of bed every day, put on a face and enjoy whatever is thrown at me with a smile on my face, even if it’s just for the public.

WHAT IS YOUR IDEA OF PERFECT HAPPINESS? Finding someone who enjoys life like me

WHAT IS YOUR MOST TREASURED POSSESSION? My children

WHAT’S LEFT ON YOUR BUCKET LIST? Loads, too much to list, time to enjoy whatever takes my fancy!

WHAT WAS YOUR GREATEST EXTRAVAGANCE? Leaving the house to my children and moving out to enjoy a single female lifestyle after my cancer operation.

WHAT IS THE ONE THING YOU WOULD CHANGE ABOUT YOURSELF? My mummy tummy, would love a flat tummy.

WHAT IS A TRAIT YOU ARE MOST PROUD OF? I have a dry and sarcastic sense of humour, not everybody gets it but it’s me!
