Introducing another one of our lovely ladies from the  40 over 40 project!

 WHAT IS YOUR OCCUPATION?  I run my own floristry business and have worked in the nhs for over 35 years.

HOW OLD ARE YOU – AND WHAT IS THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING YOUR AGE? I am 59 years yoiung, my age doesn’t define me. I have grown in confidence and looking for fun and adventure

WHAT HARDSHIPS HAVE YOU ENDURED THAT YOU FEEL HAVE MADE YOU FEEL STRONGER? I have endured loss of family and friends young and old. It has made me aware of how fragile and precious life is. If there’s something you want to do or achieve don’t save it for another day, just do it.

WHAT DO YOU CONSIDER IS YOUR GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT? I am embarking on a degree in psychology. I have 3 beautiful daughters and a granddaughter I’m so proud of. I’ve worked hard to provide for my family.

WHAT IS YOUR IDEA OF PERFECT HAPPINESS? Peace, tranquility and happiness .. a balance of fun and adventure and calm, peace and zen

WHAT IS YOUR MOST TREASURED POSSESSION? My daughters, granddaughter and my extended family and friends. My treasured memories of my lovely parents.

WHAT’S LEFT ON YOUR BUCKET LIST? Travelling, Hot Air Balloon Ride, Climb Snowdonia

WHAT WAS YOUR GREATEST EXTRAVAGANCE? This photo shoot and it was worth every penny. Absolutely Amazing

WHAT IS THE ONE THING YOU WOULD CHANGE ABOUT YOURSELF?I aim to maximise my fitness levels and be more assertive

WHAT IS A TRAIT YOU ARE MOST PROUD OF? My positive mindset..even when things are really tough I look for the positive in every situation

WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST FEAR? Fear itself it holds us all back at times

WHAT DO YOU MOST VALUE IN YOUR FRIENDS? Their love, respect, support and loyalty

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE YOUR YOUNGER SELF? Remember to take care of yourself as well as others ..I’ve spent a lot of years looking after others and neglecting myself
