 WHAT IS YOUR OCCUPATION?

I’ve done all sorts of jobs in my lifetime varying from medical receptionist to street cleaner but currently I am enjoying time for myself.

HOW OLD ARE YOU – AND WHAT IS THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING YOUR AGE? I’m 59 years old and the best thing about that is that I’ve already lived longer than so many others.

WHAT HARDSHIPS HAVE YOU ENDURED THAT YOU FEEL HAVE MADE YOU FEEL STRONGER? I don’t consider myself to have suffered any significant hardships. I’m incredibly lucky.

WHAT DO YOU CONSIDER IS YOUR GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT? Bringing three amazing humans into this world.

WHAT IS YOUR IDEA OF PERFECT HAPPINESS? Love, laughter, the company of those I love most.

WHAT IS YOUR MOST TREASURED POSSESSION? Those I love

WHAT’S LEFT ON YOUR BUCKET LIST? I’ve never had a bucket list as such but I would like to go back to being the confident, self-assured, often rebellious, person I used to be and this photoshoot has helped get me on that path. I can’t recapture my youth but maybe I can recapture my spirit!

WHAT WAS YOUR GREATEST EXTRAVAGANCE? I have never been an extravagant person so can’t really answer that!

WHAT IS THE ONE THING YOU WOULD CHANGE ABOUT YOURSELF? I would like to be braver and to care less about what others think.

WHAT IS A TRAIT YOU ARE MOST PROUD OF? I consider myself to be someone with strong principles and always try to live by them.

WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST FEAR? Losing myself to dementia

WHAT DO YOU MOST VALUE IN YOUR FRIENDS? Genuineness

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE YOUR YOUNGER SELF? Stick with it, it will all turn out okay.

AND FINALLY…..HOW DID YOU FEEL AFTER YOUR 50 OVER 50 BOUDOIR SHOOT? I could not stop smiling and I still feel proud of myself for overcoming the fear and doing it.
