 WHAT IS YOUR OCCUPATION? Office Administrator

HOW OLD ARE YOU – AND WHAT IS THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING YOUR AGE? 58
There is a certain kind of freedom in being an older lady. I no longer feel the need to conform with regards to size, shape, fashion etc, it’s quite liberating – plus I’m about to retire, which means I’ll have time to pursue activities I’ve not had time for previously.

WHAT HARDSHIPS HAVE YOU ENDURED THAT YOU FEEL HAVE MADE YOU FEEL STRONGER? I think I’ve had a great life so far and have been very lucky. The most difficult thing I’ve had to deal with was the loss of my wonderful Dad earlier this year – this was the main reason for venturing out of my comfort zone and having my Boudoir session, life’s too short!

WHAT DO YOU CONSIDER IS YOUR GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT? Most definitely, my two daughters are my greatest achievements. I’m so proud of the wonderful women they have become and they have given me my four beautiful grandchildren.

WHAT IS YOUR IDEA OF PERFECT HAPPINESS? A Sunday afternoon at home with my husband, our two girls and their families.

WHAT IS YOUR MOST TREASURED POSSESSION? The handwritten speech my Dad gave at my wedding forty years ago. When sorting through his clothes, after he had passed away, we found the suit he wore to my wedding and the speech was still in his jacket pocket.

WHAT’S LEFT ON YOUR BUCKET LIST? I have never had a bucket list, probably the only thing I haven’t done yet, that I would like to do, is a hot air balloon ride!

WHAT WAS YOUR GREATEST EXTRAVAGANCE? In my mid 30’s I had plastic surgery on my upper eyelids to remove the excess skin (the skin was hanging on my eyelashes!!). It is the most money I have ever spent on myself, but was most definitely worth it, they still look better now, over 20 years later, than they did before the surgery!!

WHAT IS THE ONE THING YOU WOULD CHANGE ABOUT YOURSELF?  My jawline!

WHAT IS A TRAIT YOU ARE MOST PROUD OF? I think I’m a kind and caring person and have good empathy – for both people and animals.

WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST FEAR?Losing a member of my family

WHAT DO YOU MOST VALUE IN YOUR FRIENDS? Their genuine affection for me and each other, I know I can rely on them, if I needed to, for absolutely anything.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE YOUR YOUNGER SELF? Stop worrying about other peoples opinion of you!

WHAT IS YOUR MOTTO OR FAVOURITE QUOTE? Life is too short, each the cake, drink the wine!!

AND FINALLY…..HOW DID YOU FEEL AFTER YOUR 50 OVER 50 BOUDOIR SHOOT? I felt absolutely great and so pleased I had done it.
