 WHAT IS YOUR OCCUPATION? I’m a chemotherapy nurse

HOW OLD ARE YOU – AND WHAT IS THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING YOUR AGE? I am 60 and the best thing about being my age is being able to look back at my youth and all the wonderful memories. I believe I was born in the best era, being so free to do what we wanted and live life to the full, no social media, no phones! Just amazing times with amazing friends!

WHAT HARDSHIPS HAVE YOU ENDURED THAT YOU FEEL HAVE MADE YOU FEEL STRONGER? I went through a terrible divorce from a mind controller who nearly broke me! We had 5 children and he used them to hurt me and ended up moving away with 2 of them splitting my family! Eventually as they got older they came back to me

WHAT DO YOU CONSIDER IS YOUR GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT? Managing to keep my head up and carry on through hard times, giving the best life to my children, bringing them up to be strong independent people and continuing to work in the best job ever for my whole life! Starting at 18 and still nursing!

WHAT IS YOUR IDEA OF PERFECT HAPPINESS? Sitting in front of the TV on a cold evening, holding hands with my hubby with a hot cuppa and my dog on my lap

WHAT IS YOUR MOST TREASURED POSSESSION? My children and my grandchildren, seeing them content in their lives and continuing to be the best they can be. Looking after my grandchildren and making them laugh.

WHAT’S LEFT ON YOUR BUCKET LIST? Travelling and more travelling
I would love to see as much of the world as I can!

WHAT WAS YOUR GREATEST EXTRAVAGANCE? Moving to Frampton and being able to buy the house of my dreams! Using the cash from my council house and my husbands inheritance. We moved in April this year and still pinch ourselves knowing that we own this house.

WHAT IS THE ONE THING YOU WOULD CHANGE ABOUT YOURSELF? I would love to have more confidence in myself. My hubby and kids all tell me constantly that I can do it and should do it but I continually doubt myself

WHAT IS A TRAIT YOU ARE MOST PROUD OF? Seeing the good in other people

WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST FEAR?Something terrible happening to my loved ones

WHAT DO YOU MOST VALUE IN YOUR FRIENDS? Loyalty and their protectiveness

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE YOUR YOUNGER SELF? You CAN do it and not everyone is good!
