WHAT DO YOU DO FOR A LIVING?

I’m a Bar Manager in a seaside family bar, I have worked here on & off since 1986 starting as a waitress,

 

At work I don’t feel my age as I work with younger people, but my body soon tells me my age when I’m home with its aches & pains, l

I have suffered with anxiety since I was young and it has set me back in demand ways, scared to do things, worried how people see me on how I present myself, dress or act, Then one day I woke up and said its not beating me anymore, now if I fear it I face it head on, if I do it and don’t like it it doesn’t matter I did it and the anxiety didn’t stop me, or beat me

Being given the manager position at my place of work, although it’s not a man’s job, it is a physical & mentally challenging,
I’m the only female manager and been doing the job over 12yrs and love it

To smile, laugh & enjoy everything im doing

WHAT IS YOUR MOST TREASURED POSSESSION?

My toy dog from a baby, it’s lost an ear, thin and threadbare from cuddles, but he’s mine & and still with me on bad days

To go on a safari and see the big 5,
Go up in a hot air balloon,

This photoshoot,
I usually question any big purchase, big is £1000+ to me, the usual questions do I need it, why do I need it, will it be used regularly,
But this photoshoot was done for me and just me, for me to see the real me,not the boss me,

 

My self confidence,
I’m confident at work making decisions and organising daily, but for myself I go without put myself last, I would love to put myself first without feeling guilty

 

I’m very caring will always put other peoples needs first, i’d like to think I’m a good friend with a good ear and shoulder
