 WHAT IS YOUR OCCUPATION?A retired nurse

HOW OLD ARE YOU – AND WHAT IS THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING YOUR AGE? The best part of being 61 is the wisdom gained over the years. Being able to guide others but also not worrying so much about what others think.

WHAT HARDSHIPS HAVE YOU ENDURED THAT YOU FEEL HAVE MADE YOU FEEL STRONGER? Losing my lovely mum earlier this year was so hard but from this I gained an insight into my spirituality . I became more aware of living life to the full and open up to being the person I am.

WHAT DO YOU CONSIDER IS YOUR GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT? My greatest achievement is raising three children to become beautiful individuals. Second to my family is my nursing career that I started later in life.

WHAT IS YOUR IDEA OF PERFECT HAPPINESS? Feeling contentment.

WHAT IS YOUR MOST TREASURED POSSESSION? Time to spend doing things that I enjoy.

WHAT’S LEFT ON YOUR BUCKET LIST? I’m not sure yet but this experience has provoked a keeness to do more. Maybe travel.

WHAT WAS YOUR GREATEST EXTRAVAGANCE? Giving up my job to enjoy my life.

WHAT IS THE ONE THING YOU WOULD CHANGE ABOUT YOURSELF? Being able to express myself more.

WHAT IS A TRAIT YOU ARE MOST PROUD OF? Caring and calmness

WHAT DO YOU MOST VALUE IN YOUR FRIENDS? Their time, understanding, advice and their humour.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE YOUR YOUNGER SELF? Get a good education, love and live to the fullest as life is too short.

AND FINALLY…..HOW DID YOU FEEL AFTER YOUR 50 OVER 50 BOUDOIR SHOOT? I felt amazing. I have lots of love for Sharon and Katie for giving me this experience. I am so glad I did it and it has opened up my confidence to be the person I want to be.
