I had my 5 minutes of fame today on the BBC Radio Lincolnshire Scott Dalton morning show. Anyone who is following me knows I am putting on an exhibition for Breast Cancer in April and Scott kindly gave me some airtime to talk about what we are doing and why. Crucially it was an appeal for items for the silent auction and raffle so we can raise more money for Breast Cancer Now.
Sadly – the great reliable technology that is a mobile phone signal in a village ….. I got cut off in my prime. Typical! But the message is out there and hopefully enough was heard to generate some donations!
You can hear the recording above!
Following on from the broadcast we also got featured in the press! Read the article here! Lincolnshire World
If you are reading this and think you can donate some feel good prizes that women would want to win – please do get in touch with me. We have already raised £5500 from our last two exhibitions – lets smash it with this one!
Details of this years project can be found here if you are interested in being part of something that is amazing for you to do for your own self esteem, and helps give something back to Breast Cancer through the fundraising exhibition.
