WHAT IS YOUR OCCUPATION? I am very happily retired

 IS THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING YOUR AGE? I am freer to spend time doing what I want to do – and I do!

 HAVE YOU HAD TO COPE WITH ANYTHING IN YOUR LIFE WHICH HAS BEEN PARTICULARLY DIFFICULT TO OVERCOME? I spent 66 years feeling unable to be who I really am. It is only in the last two years that I have been able to address a lifelong dysphoria. The sense of release, the joy, in being able to live as I have always wanted to live is extraordinary.

I now lead a life that makes sense to me – a life that has an equilibrium I have never known before – because I have transitioned. No matter that it is late in life. It is the first time that I have been truly ‘me’ and I am so grateful to my daughters and friends for their kindness, love and support., which means the world to me.

 DO YOU CONSIDER IS YOUR GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT? Being the parent of two wonderful daughters

WHAT IS YOUR IDEA OF PERFECT HAPPINESS? Lounging in a natural hot spring, untroubled by time 

WHAT IS YOUR MOST TREASURED POSSESSION? My camera

WHAT’S LEFT ON YOUR BUCKET LIST? A flight in a hot air balloon

WHAT WAS YOUR GREATEST EXTRAVAGANCE?I don’t know that I’ve ever been particularly extravagant. Maybe Symply Boudoir! 

 WHAT IS A TRAIT YOU ARE MOST PROUD OF? My creativity 

WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST FEAR? Falling from a great height

 DO YOU MOST VALUE IN YOUR FRIENDS? That they are there for me 

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE YOUR YOUNGER SELF? Have faith and one day you will get there.
